  1. I recorded a live concert stream using FLV Recorder, however the program deleted the actual FLV file!!
All I have left is an FLVDATA file and an FLVDATA.TMP file.

Is there any way of converting either of these files to the FLV of the stream?
I am unable to re-record the stream as it was a live broadcast.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. If any further info is needed just ask.
Sorry, i'm a bit of a noob to all this.

    Thanx

I guess you tried rename them to .flv and open in different players like vlc?
    How big are the files?

  3. Yeah, I copied them and tried renaming but neither will play in VLC.
They are both around 1Gb in size.

  4. I found that FLV Recorder had a tendency to fall over at the end of a recording session when it converts the recorded data into the flv file so I stopped using it.

FLV Recorder has an internal tool to take a FLVDATA file and carry out the conversion to flv, but I found that it normally crashed in a similar fashion. Worth a try though as I found no other way of converting the recorded data into something usable.

Yeah, I tried the internal tool but it got to 99.98% then crashed!!
Beginning to wish I had used Replay Media Catcher instead

Thanks for replying Munster1. Much appreciated.

Anyone else got any other suggestions?
