DVD Authoring With Cellltimes Import

Ifoedit DVD author function allows you to import chapter stops with a celltimes.txt file. Are there any other DVD authoring programs that allow this?

GUIforDVDAuthor will if you want something that can create complex menus.

A lot the freeware dvd authoring programs have such functions ... some just a little easier to find.

Since I sometimes use celltimes.txt files with the latest version of GUIforDVDAuthor/Muxman, I'm sure they work. GUIForDVDAuthor/Muxman converts the frame numbers to the correct times in the format it prefers (hh:mm:ss.milliseconds) after importation.

If you want more proof, GUIforDVDAuthor/Muxman's documentation says this about the formats it accepts for text-based chapter files: "Chapters can be read in either from a suitable file (in the format hour:minute:second.milliseconds, hour:minute:second.frames whereby only hour and minute are mandatory or just frames)..."

celltimes.txt files are permitted, since they contain just frame numbers.

For example, TMPGEnc DVD Author 3 and Authoring Works 4 can both import and export such a file (text with frame numbers in column). The only difference is that they use different file extension '.keyframes' which can be always renamed.
