Hi,
I have some MKV files with high resolution that I want to burn to Blu-ray.
So I thought "no problem" and used tsmuxer as shown in the howtos. It generates the BDMV / CERTIFICATE BD file structure without any problem. Afterwards I used imgburn to burn the file structure to BD, using a standard Sony BD-R. The BD is played by my PC, no problem so far.
But then I put my BD into my Sony BDP-S370, and it says something like "disc can't be played", not giving me any reason why.The lack of any error details makes it difficult to identify the problem. I have tried it with two BDs, always having the same problem.
Media info says the mkv is using VC-1, AP@L3, 1920x1080, Bitrate 16,1 Mbps. I have read that the S370 has problems with mkvs using 24p-profile, but the Blu-ray should be absolutely standard-conform and thus be played.
Does anyone have an idea what is going wrong?
Thanks a lot,
highlifeX
