I have just upgraded to WIN XP and also added another Hard Drive and now when I start up Smart Ripper I get a message saying no ASPI Adapter available.
Please could somebody explain what this means, and or even better tell me how I can get round this, I guess by downloading something?

go to adaptec website download aspi install v 4.7 as it will install apsi layer in 2000 / xp without the need for a qualifying adaptec product present.
windows 2000 and xp do not come with an aspi layer installed. -
Please make sure to install ASPI with the Install.bat file from the command prompt. The command is 'Install.bat XP32' without the quotes. This ensures the right registry entry for XP and the instalation of the 4.7 version files. If you use the instaler then the older 4.6 version gets installed and then all hell breaks loose.
