    Hi friendz,

    I have got two mkv files which were splitted from the source file.The first file was edited and joined with the second one using mkvmerge.no errors were shown and the files were muxed sucessfully but when i played it(VLC ) .it plays as two video files GOM & KM player plays it but doesn't play the merged part.

    Is it because that i have edited the first file the merged file doesn't play normally. i don't want to re-encode two splitted files and merge them.anyways to make the first mkv file as it were before and mux it then maybe video will play normally.sorry if i have posted too much information .I have got help whenever i wanted it. Hope this time also will be the same.

    Did you choose append in mkvmergegui? If you use add it will make a mkv with two video tracks. See http://www.bunkus.org/videotools/mkvtoolnix/doc/mkvmerge-gui.html#basics

    Or you can also try avidemux, open mkv, append the other, save as a new mkv.

    thankz baldrick for the quick replay.i'm sure i have appended it not the add option.haven't tried avidemux .i'm gonna use it and will inform the results soon.

    tried avidemux but the resulted mkv don't play the merged part(second file).any other way ??
