    Hi everyone,
    I've finished an video art editing project in FCP. I don't have a specific client I'm working for at the moment so I'm not commited to any format. given the fact that the piece will be sold soon and I still won't be committed to a single client, which file format/codec would you use to deliver the finished file? I want everyone to be able to play it and I do not want to compromise the quality. For now, I'm thinking of going for quicktime/h.264 but what about machines who can't read quicktime?
    The clip is HD 1920x1080.

    I would use mp4 at a fairly high bitrate. This should be playable by everyone.

    I'd make it Blu-Ray compatible MPeg2 or h.264 in m2ts wrapper.

    Also consider a 720x576 MPeg2 DVD option as lowest common denominator

    But all this depends on your intended market.
