    Hello,
I want to renovate my website. What are the easiest ways to embed video and slideshows on my site?
I mean without difficult language. I know that there is a lot info on the web, but i am hoping that you guys have experience with those applications that don't need code. And I thought you can recommend me the best one.
    Thanks,
    Rob

Host it on YouTube and paste the link.

Thanks for your suggestions, but that is not embedding! And hosting is not a problem.

Sure it is. Did you ever notice the embed button to copy all the code that is needed to embed YouTube videos into your site?

    try the JW Player
    http://www.longtailvideo.com/players/jw-player-now

    or:
    Flow Player
    http://flowplayer.org/setup/index.html

if you're going to use webm i recomend using something that uses just one player for flv, theora, mp4 or webm, both previous players use differents players for different formats, if you want a single player for all formats:

    Sublime Video:

I love it when a plan comes together!

Thanks guys. I didn't know about the youtube option. I have been trying it out, but now I have decided to upload to VIMEO and embed from there. Gives a bit nicer look then youtube and better image quality. Only thing that worries me is what people on older (slower) computers will see?

  8. I have a 8 year old xp computer that displays Vimeo vids just fine. Video is more dependent on broadband speed than the computer.

  10. Butterflies, use the embed code that Vimeo gives you. You use that code to embed the video on your web site. Very simple.
