    Hello,

I have a blu-ray movie converted to .m2ts with .dts audio with the Mega K-Lite Codec Pack installed, and I'm having problems having it playback in Windows Media Player with having the audio work. The video plays fine, but there is no audio. My other .m2ts file with AC3 audio works great, the video and sound both work. But the movie with .dts audio, I can see the movie, but not hear anything.

How can I get it work? I've Googled this and haven't been able to find a way unless I exact the .dts to AC3 and join the video and audio together, but that process would take forever since I have lots of movies.

    Thanks!

You generally want to pass the .dts audio through to your surround sound amplifier and let it do the decoding. But I would try the MPC-HC player and see if it works. WMP may have problems with .dts. K-lite may also cause problems with playback. Proper configuration of ffdshow and the Haali Media Splitter may be needed for WMP use.

K-Lite Codec pack comes with ffdshow and Haali Media Splitter. And I tried to google proper configurations for the two to make .dts work with WMP, and so far no luck. I am not sure if I have to uninstall K-Lite Codec Pack and install ffdshow and Haali Media Splitter has stand alone or if the configuration I used were wrong.

Do you know the proper configurations for ffdshow and Haali Media Splitter? And do you know if I have install Media Splitter and ffdshow as stand alone applications and remove K-Lite Codec Pack.

    Thanks.
