  1. Hey folks, can this player opt out one audio track if the flic is dual audio? Maybe I'm just missing something. It's known to happen. Quite frequently, in fact.

I've created AVIs with two audio tracks that I can switch between during playback using the Audio/Create MP3 button. (They were originally created for play on my DVP-642, some time ago.)

Do you mean both audio 'tracks' play at the same time? You might have one of those videos where one language plays on the 'left' audio field, and the other plays on the 'right'. In that case, the only solution is to adjust the balance of the sound (using your amplifier/stereo/etc.) until you can only hear the side/language you want.

  3. Hey Ai. Two audio tracks with one being the director's commentary. I don't think they are channel specific.

Friend of mine made this for me, though I don't have it yet. Here's what he said in a note concerning the dual tracks: "This xvid has dual audio tracks. Track 2 is a commentary track with the director."

If I was watching it with VLC on my puter I guess I could easily choose the track, but you say "using the Audio/Create MP3 button" will switch between tracks? Man, this player has more surprises than I knew of. Thanks for the reply.

As long as the audio streams are separate, and muxed correctly (and the video/audio fall within what the player's expecting, of course ), it should work.
