  1. With the newest adition of HD videos on Youtube, ive been downloading a couple of videos. Now, i tested converting one of those into Avi (DiVx codec and mp3 audio format) with horrible results. I was doing all this in the first place because most editing appz doesnt recognize mp4 containers (at least the ones i have installed on my PC). So i would like to know if anyone knows a better way to convert those mp4 videos without messing with its quality (so much). Maybe what best combination of Containers & Codecs are suitable. Thanks a lot.

  3. Im editing some of those videos, to remove some intro rubbish and some sound quality in a couple of those. Any of the programs i have to edit videos recognize mp4 to open and work on it, and when i tried to convert one to .avi with divx and mp3 codecs it went awful...
