  1. i have vampire hunter d bloodlust and i want to make a flashy menu for it...i wanted the background to be small clips from the movie without the sound, some death metal menu music in the background, and maybe animated selections for the selection menu.
so far i've made simple little menus with nero but nothing like this.
i have videopack5 and after reading everything in the help menu i still have no clue how to do any of this.am i using the right tool or sould i go with another program that a little more simple to work with?

  2. I use the same program. I say stick with it. I had problems at first because it seems overly complex, but it really isnt. Make sure you go through the 'help' section, and watch the tutorials and stuff. It will be worth your while.

I am not sure how you would make the menu with video in the background. I am not sure if it is even possible. I know you can make a slideshow background, and it will flip through different pictures you may have of the movie. You just take a picture file and drag it down to the left side (navigator window), select that menu element (the first picture), then drag more pictures to the left side. You can then right-click on them and set how long you want that image to stay on the screen, etc. Just play around with that.
But I found that this program gives you the most freedom with the least problems.

I tried the VCDEasy GUI stuff and it just didnt work for me.

  3. You might try TSCV (VCDImager GUI) to create a motion meny. Or to be more presice: You make the menu as a VCD compliant mpeg. I have created several myselves and am very satisfied with the result. The ones i'va made is just a still with sound in the background, but if you have a editing program, like Adobe Premiere, i thing you can get quite a spectacular result.

If you choose to try this, then when you select menu item, select the mpeg file and you get a motion menu.
