  1. I ripped a blu ray to my hd and am trying to convert the DTS to AC3 with eac3 and it wont load it, TSmuxer wont load it and VLC will not play it.
IS there an app I can use to fix this?
    What should I do?
    Thankyou

  2. While I was using Windows, there is a utility can demux m2ts (i guess TSRMux, or TSRDemux) into elementary streams and you go from there.

  3. When I try to load the file into TSmuxer it gives this error Error:Bitstream exception Unknown exception
    similar happens in TSRDemux.

  4. what i missed is "hd and am trying to convert the DTS to AC3..."
you need DS DTS decoder which is not free.

  5. The other m2ts files from the same disc work just fine and I have converted HD audio with success before.

  6. What disc? Maybe it has PiP (picture-in-picture) or branching. I've found either of those can cause your problem, and tsMuxer definitely does not like PiP. It's not Clash of the Titans, by any chance? Or maybe Nanny McPhee?

    Tried ripping again?

If the rip is okay, BDRB can probably handle it, so long as the target is BD25, for BD 5/9 it *may* choke. It's a known problem with PiP discs, often discussed on the bug report thread. A workaround for an especially stubborn problematic disc (though less than ideal) is to run it through BDRB, target BD25, then do it again to BD5/9. BDRB will convert audio to AC3 unless you specifically set it to retain original audio.

ClownBD (an EAC3to front-end) may be able to do the job, be sure to set audio output to AC3.

  7. I have ripped it both with DVDFab 7 and 8 and they both produce the exact same files, two of the m2ts out of the three that are over 9 GB and are the main episode work and play just fine with VLC and load up in TSmuxer or any other app I try them in, the third is about the same size but wont load up in anything.
