    99% chance you will NEVER be able to unlock this player.

    Sony DVD and BluRay players are among the most difficult to unlock in the world right now. Being in the USA just adds to the difficulty. I don't know if there are any Sony models sold in the USA and Canada that can be unlocked. Even if someone provides an unlock code, it may only work on models sold outside of the USA.
