    Hi folks.

I'm wondering if anyone has tried the following methods. I am having a lot of trouble with the proven methods of SVCD creation, so I'm curious if either of these would work.

    1. Can you take an SVCD disk image, and simply replace the video file with a new one of the same name, assuming you have a one-track disc?

    2. Is there a way to reencode MPEG-2, build a disc and save it as an image all in Nero under VPC, then burn the image with the Mac version of Nero? Or more directly, is there any way to get VPC to recognize a burner? I bet I've got more problems, because my burner is SCSI.

Does anyone have any experience trying this? I have no SVCD disk images, and Nero returns an error halfway through reencoding the video.

Secondarily to that, how can I encode the video Mac-side, and not have Nero complain about the stream format? Here's what I'm using under Cleaner and Mpack:
    480x480
    29.97
    System stream

    Thanks!

  2. SVCD creation has become much simpler recently,at least on OS X.
Maybe you should explain the problems you are having.
