Problems with convertions

Hello, everyone. I'm new here and I don't know if this question was already made, but I decided to make it anyway because it kind of complex.

And even being complex, I think it's a complex on the level of a newbie. lol

So, I made a download of a movie, 2 movies actually: Parnassus and Kick Ass.

To see them on television, I made what I always make: extract audio and convert (DTS to AC3).

But this time, the movie don't work. I just can't see it on TV and I don't know why, because is the same method I did on the other movies that worked.

Anybody can help?

Oh, Almost forgot: I installed windows 7, so I had to download all the programs, but even so, I had downloaded the same (MKVMerge, MKVExtract and DAudioK).

If someone knows of a problem on new versions and has a tip of versions of these programas that works, it would be great.
