What is the difference between CUT and DELETE when editing in Avidemux?

Maybe the same as CUT and DELETE in general ... after a CUT you can PASTE it somewhere?

I never knew what "cut" was until a few weeks ago when my wife told me. Sh!t happens.

While learning AVIDemux from the guide posted here on Video Help, and trying various things on AVI file.
As I learned...
"Delete" --> Deletes/Removes completely selected video segment from the file.
"Cut" ---> Cuts the video segment from particular location, but available for pasting elsewhere.
Finally you can save as different AVI file.
So you can bring end -to->start and vice versa.
I guess, this is nice and unique feature in AVIDemux.
