    When I import a video the sound is ok but video has stopped. I was mid project and had already imported video from my files from the same source without problem and have used WMM many times for this with no issues. The video plays without problem in other programmes but all I get when I move the video to the review box in WMM is a still image. Thanks

    It seems like some files or Windows Media Codecs for Windows Movie Maker are corrupted.
    Try re-installing Windows Movie Maker and Windows Media Codec Pack again.

    I am not sure about Windows Movie Maker dependencies on .NET Framework.
