Can I burn a vcd or svcd to disc in batches of say 50 photos at a time as I shoot a card full, or, do the disc have to be filled in one go .![]()

How about using a CDR-W, when you want to add another 50, copy what you already have from the CDR-W to hard drive, then add those and the new ones and make another CDR-W
When full, burn to CDR -
Or
How about you make the disk as usual, but save the layout. Then you can burn as normal but have a copy of the layout. Then load the layout back in (which will have your old clips) and add your new ones, then burn again.
Keep saving the layout each time, as long as you don't move any of the components on your hard drive, the layout will load them back in each time.
Using a CDR-W means you can keep going on the same disk until full
