Creating a short-cut icon/link to [+ Reply to Thread] in forum listings ?

Can we add a feature to the forum ?

When skimming through the forums and I find a post i'd like to respond to, it would be nice to offer an icon to click on, that goes directly to the [+ Reply to Thread] or [Quote] instead of having to open the topic followed by clicking either of the above links.

I think we used to have this in the old days, i think. But this would be very helpful because it would save on the time to download the page, and on dialup it would be an noticable improvement.

People already duplicate answers and they have all the previous post in front of them, a button like that would just make it worse. Besides, you can learn a lot from other people answers.
