Bought a Hero HD Motorsports camera, shot a video on r4, ran it through VirtualDub w/Deshaker and the end result kind of sucks.
Telescoping, oscillating, and has a kind of rolling wobble effect when I roll on the throttle.
Just kind of lost in the whole video thing right now. I google and end up reading about things I haven't even gotten to learning yet and can't seem to find what it is I'm looking for. Any advice on how to correct these effects would be greatly appreciated.

It's a CMOS camera, you can 't fix the jello shakes . CCD based sensors are immune to this
Deshaker has limited CMOS skew correction, but only on vertical pans. The jello effect from vibrations are not improved at all, and there is no software method short of manually manipulated each frame to fix it
Some terms you want to look up are rolling shutter vs. global shutter and CCD
