i have got some old songs probably recorded from lp records. when played, hear some disturbing noise like the one which comes from when we deepfry fish-( sound of boiling oil). i opened the song in adobe audition but i am not able to find out what exactly to do. can i get some help in this regard as to what filter should i use to get rid of the annoying sound? thanks

Audacity has some useful noise reduction filters.
Use latest version 1.3.x
