  1. Hi all,

Would love some help as I am new and quite pathetic at all this hi-tec stuff but keep trying anyway. I wanted to transfer movies to DVD and found I couldn't do it with the Nero that I have. I was advised to D/L DVDFlick as it was easy to use. Yes, it was easy to use but all the DVD's I have burned have audio that is slighty out of sync. It
    drives me crazy.

    Can anyone help?

    Thank you greatly

Start by looking at the source - mediainfo will tell you what you have - and see if all the files are the same or similar.

Is every conversion out of sync ?
How are you testing the discs ?
How are you burning them ?
What media are you using ?

  3. Yes the whole movie is slightly out of sync. Testing? Not sure what you mean. I'm burning using the DVDflick according to instructions I found on a youtube "how to" video. Hate to sound stupid but not sure what you mean about media?

  4. DVDFlick has a bug that makes the audio go out of sync by default, you need to double click on the files and check "sync audio".
Unfortunately DVDFlick isn't being updated anymore so you might want to try something else.

BTW: media is what your finished product goes on, in this case guns1inger wants to know what brand of DVD you are using.

  5. Oh thanks. Do you think I should get rid of DVD flick and DL something else? Any suggestions? I need it to be REALLY simple so even an idiot like me can manage to work it out.

    Thanks so much,

  6. I like Corel Videostudio, it's easy to use yet it has advanced features. It has a 30 day free trial.
If you use Vista or 7 you can use Windows DVD Maker.

ConvertXtoDVD is pretty simple and reliable, but is not free.

The best free tool at the moment is AVStoDVD, which is still maintained frequently and well supported
