Hi,
I am interested in purchasing the PS3 - just for the bluray, not interested in games.
This site is selling it for $179.99.
Has anyone dealt with this company and are they reliable?
Thanks.

1. Web of Trust has no rating, Most likely a new site
2. If the price is to good, run
There has been a problem in the UK for example with bogus (Scam) websites offering popular electronics at really good prices. When the user goes to check out they get declined for a bogus reason. This is done to get them to enter a second or third Credit card info. Needless to say these cards get hit with bogus charges and if a debit card the bad guys have access to the whole checking account. The stolen cards are even used to pay Google for adverts that show as sponsored ads.
The other option is tha they are not telling you refurbs or whatever.
Go here and post the website and ask if anyone can check it for you http://www.dslreports.com/forum/scambusters
Good luck
FWIW I had a customer that put one credit card and one debit card into one of the Fake Antivirus sites. $4500 was removed from checking and the Credit card company caught it and called him.Last edited by TBoneit; 15th Jun 2010 at 13:55. Reason: content

Thanks Tboneit,
I called the company and they don't even reply.
I should have known that it is probably a scam and will stick with ABT. where I purchased a Sony Surround Sound unit and Klispsch speakers.
Thanks again for the info.

You can get a Magnavox BD player for $78:

That pretty much says "SCAM" to me.
Other indicators that a site is bad: No way to contact them.
Or they say they take assorted credit cards and/or paypal but when you go to check out they want money transfers.
Or when filling out your information they want things like date of birth or social security number (identity type of information) that should not be asked for.
I'm glad to hear you didn't get scammed!
