  1. Hello,

I bought my home theater from the US and now that i moved to the middle east, I can't play most of the DVDs... I heard there is a region free hack.. I looked all over the net for it but no luck... Can someone help me find it? or if you have another way to play dvds from different regions.. please let me know

    thanks

It's very likely there is none. If you make backup copies of your DVDs they will be region free.

Samsung and Sony players of all types are the most difficult in the world to unlock. We had an unverified report that exactly ONE Samsung BluRay player sold in the USA and Canada could be unlocked, but I don't remember the model number. Maybe a couple of Samsung players sold in Australia can also be unlocked but that's about it. Specialty players (home theater systems, DVD/TV, DVD/VCR, portables) of all types have always been incredibly difficult to unlock. Sorry, but your player is just about useless for you unless you have a large number of USA bought discs to play there. Maybe you can buy a region free DVD player there. BluRay players that are region free for DVD playback do exist but they are very rare. It would be easier to find a region free DVD player.
