I've got the ATI TV Wonder VE and I am using their software to capture mpg instead of virtualdub because of the ease of their scheduled recording for when I am gone. However, when I try to convert the captured MPG to DivX, the audio is way off. I tried delaying the audio, but it seems to get progressively worse. I figured this may be because of the amount of dropped frames during the capture. I don't know what to do, if anyone could give me some pointers I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Hi
If you think your dropping a lot of frames this can be down to your hardware. Hard drive speed, Processor, Memory etc.
Make sure your hard drive is defragged before you start, does it support DMA, if so do you have it switched on.
Stop any other programs from running.
Try reducing the size of your frame slightly
355 X 288 ? what are you using ?
I don't have that card so I don't know what settings you can adjust, try reducing some of them to see if there is "Any" improvement.
