Most of the reviews of Premiere Elements 8 that I've read have been overwhelmingly negative. I gather that this is because of the conflicts with Asus/Nvidia hardware that caused quite a bit of instability early on in the software's release. Adobe has since released some patches trying to work out the problems, but I haven't heard if they've actually solved the issues people were having.
So, I wanted to start a thread here to ask if you any of you know if PE8 is still having stability problems, or if they've largely been solved.
I'm deciding on whether or not I should make the jump from Win XP to Win 7, and since PE7 isn't compatible with Win 7, I'd need to upgrade to PE8.

I use it. Adobe has released only one patch and that patch fixed most of the problems that some people had experienced with editing.
