I successfully burned my first DVD using Windows 7 Ultimate. However, when I tested it, the colors were too vivid (exactly like the time back when I used Vista, and all my AVI files had those vivid colors after importing them using Windows Movie Maker because I unchecked the Xvid filter from the "Tools -> Options -> Compatibility" list.

How can I burn a DVD with all perfect (non-vivid) colors? Note: I only used .WMV files and nothing else.

I'm afraid you're no help. I didn't even HAVE Movie Maker when I first installed Windows 7, and I only recently installed Movie Maker 2.6.

See if FAVC or AVStoDVD will work for you instead. Both did a better job for me than a couple of Microsoft's products did when I tried them, using a different type of video. If I remember correctly, AVStoDVD includes some settings that might correct some color problems.
