    Hy guys,
    probably a simple one for you if you've ever done it;
    I've ripped a DVD with smart ripper, but forgot to set it to demux to extra files, whilt setting the vob size to maximum.
    hence I now have a vob file of 4GB.
    I can't burn it in a video_ts folder to my DVD-R's like normall(i guess because of the file size), normally I have a few vob approx 1GB in size.
    I donot have the DVD to hand so would liike to chop the VOB to the correct sizes if that is all that is required, so I can author it, it doesn't load into Spruce up, errors at 99%, this has happened before when I was experimkenting with ripping methods so I don't think the file is corrupt.

    I have vob splitting software, but I'm not sure if it is that simple.
    Also I have tried to reload the vob into smartripper but it keeps saying it is not a dvd(which it ibviously isn't).

    Hopefully someone out there will have a real easy solution.

    Ok it's sorted, I loaded it into vobedit, and then demuxed it to mp2 and ac3.
    Now I can author it with Spruce up.
    I knew there would be a simple answer that dodn't take many hours to do.
