Hello.
I want to use HuffYUV codec in windows vista 64 so i have downloaded the codec right click INF file and install, however the codec does not show up as "listed codecs" in VirtualDub, so i can't use it.
I also have the same problem with lagarith and MSU codecs. Run the INF file however they do not show up as listed codecs.
On my old XP system it was simple. If i right clicked the INF file i was able to use the codec afterwards.
So how do i use it in Vista 64.

Thanks for the recommendation on installing lagarith in windows 64. The problem is that when I follow the instructions for using the command prompt I get an error that the file could not be copied to the destination directory. It is locating the file fine but doesn't seem to be able to open the directory. Do you know why?
Thanks for any pointers -
I know, I'm bumping an old thread. But I have good reason...
Here's more detailed install instructions: http://www.digitalFAQ.com/forum/showthread.php/cannot-install-huffyuv-2193.html?p=11627#post11627
Some of the other instructions online weren't "newbie friendly" enough (needed a bit more hand-holding).
That should help.Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)
