  1. hi

    i just moved on a mac. i would like to find a tool that can extract and merge the layers in a mkv-file
    i also would like to find a tool that converts dts audio to ac3

    can any1 help me with that

    Do you have the time...?

    This forum is full of tools !!!
    The perfonmance of some free softwares keeps on surprising me.
    I read, i try, and i stick to the best programme for my needs.
    It's my OWN choice.
    And if there is something that i will always have, it's my free mind.

    Possibly you need to take the time to read the original post so you can offer worthwhile suggestions. The OP has specifically asked for Mac OS X based tools. eacto is windows only.

  10. any non windows related suggestions would be cool
    i've done some research and i found nothing
    or i searched in the wrong direction

    anyway, mkvTools is a very good tool to edit my mkv's
    still that dts to ac3 convertion problem

  12. apparently we can do it with mkvtoolnix
    but some coding is requiered
    i just switched on mac, so this is still kinda hard for me

    i also saw that mkvtoolnix first converts to wav and then to ac3
    i prefer finding something easier for me for the moment

    other suggestions are welkom
