    Hello all,

I have 2 mkv films (h264+mp3) and I'd like to take bits of each of them and make them into 1 file, which tools would do this ?

I have looked into mkvmerge but I think it's more to merge than split and paste and virtualdub does not seem to be happy with the mkv files...

    Thanks

Might give AviDemux a try..You should be able to load the MKV(s)..If not use MKVextractGui (MKVToolnix) and extract the streams then import in Avidemux to edit and save new mkv..
