I have an MKV file with subs that I'm trying to convert to DVD or AVI, but I can't get rid of the subs. If I play it in VLC I can disable them but if I try to convert it to either an AVI or DVD format so I can play it on my non blue ray dvd player the subs permanently burn in. I guess I'm looking for either a converter that will let me eliminate subs in the conversion or a way to strip the subs from the MKV and then convert it.
