Lagarith codec installation problem

I originally installed the codec yesterday with the setup and it worked fine in Vegas. I uninstalled it (I forget why), then I go back to install it today and it seems to not work. I click next in the setup and it instantly says finished. The codec doesn't show up in Vegas, but is shown in programs in the control panel. I tried numerous times to try and reinstall it and it still won't work.

I have things like avisynth, ffdshow, k-lite codec pack installed and uninstalled those to see if they were interfering somehow but it still didn't work.

Maybe there's something in the registry that could fix it?

i have installed lagarith 1320 recently.
i guess, install.bat in zip files did not worked for me.
i simply right click on lagarith.inf and then clicked install. it worked for me.
