    Hi,
    I have a DVD with series on the harddisk.

    Now I want to extraxt a subtitle for example the english from the first episode on the disc.

    How do I realize this. Have read VobEdit should be good for this, but I did't find some guides for this.
    Tried it with VobEdit, opened a VOB File and have choosen demux.
    Then I could select subtitle from 0x20 to 0x3F. Whats this? The different languages?

    If there is another software which is better, let me know.

    yep VSrip and SUBRip.
    VSRip is more automatic but i can not figure out to rip all languages in VSRip.

    SubRip is more detailed and more accurate takes bit longer while feeding characters manual for OCR for initial few minutes. but gives very accurate results.
