    I am looking for a software that I can easily capture parts of a dvd to divx files.
    I don't want it to be very complicated just a record and a stop record button without having to adjust bitrate and staff every time.

    Or if you want free tools you can use xvid4psp 5, load dvd, set start and stop, change to avi mode. Save.

    I think you can try kmplayer , it is a good player with many functions,it can save one piece of video what you want just click the button.
