  1. I'm looking for a 100% sure fire method to record xvid movies to dvd without having audio SYNC issues. It seems using convertXtoDVD sometimes has audio sync issues and I tried another one and it does also. Is there a way for me to absolutely guarantee no out of sync issues?

In my original xvid movies, they audio and video playback fine without SYNC issues. I use VLC player for playback.

If two converters so far have caused sync issues.....don't you think it is the source(the xvid files) and not the converters? I guarantee the original DVD of those xvid files contain no sync issues.

If you mean a 100% sure fire method to convert avi to DVD w/o sync issues---well, there is no 100% sure-fire method..Try other converting app..AVStoDVD, DVDflick, FAVC, etc..
If you're constantly getting out-of-sync issues when converting, I would check the source files first..
