I have an old 160GB 2.5" SATA hard drive from my laptop.
How do I connect this SATA drive with its special connector to my desktop PC with the separate 3.5" power and drive cabling ?
I don't even know what is the adapter/cable/?? look like ?
Is this do-able ? Where do I look ? Newegg, radioshack ?

Sure, you just need a adapter. You may also need a mount for adding the 2.5 to a 3.5 bay. Some adapters here on NewEgg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Order=BESTMATCH&Descr...to+3.5+adapter You may be able to find them at a local PC store also.
