Ok, now that I've understood that I can fit so and so amount of video file onto a 700mb or 800mb CD I want to know how to calculate in advance the amount of file I'm gonna get when I convert the .avi files I have onto VCD format using this s/w (TMPGEnc). Can I do that? How?

  2. not only do i got a calculator that will tell u exactly when using cbr, i have 85 temps approx that has been calculated to fit a movie up to hrs using vbr and fit max file size on cd before overburn.

I DO NOT want to hear any retarded remarks saying theres no way to calculate vbr, well people, u r wrong.

Take a probability course cuz these temps are never no more than 6 mb off.

If u want the temps or the calc, email me or IM me on aim- ShiZZZoN

Use the most accurate bitrate calculator, use FitCD.
Never no more than 1 MB off

    Dear Truman,
Can you explain how FitCD works? Which files are used to claculate these calculations?
Does it also work for just VCDs and not only SVCDs?

  5. the calc i got works for vcds and svcds and it VERY accurate.

I derived the formula it uses to calculate and its DEAD even!

It rounds off just like it is suppose to. if it's 1066.4556- it would then be 1066.

i got the calculated temps for vbr too for 1 cd if u want em.

Max bitrate gets increased so u can use an additional 450 kbits more in your video, very handy for movies
