I have a friend that has one of the new iMac's. He has Apple's high end software of Final Cut Pro and DVD Studio Pro. He is able to take a two hour VHS of mine (of a football game: lots of motion), convert it, author it, and burn it onto one DVD with no quality loss. For me to get good quality, I convert the captured AVI files at 720 x 480 NTSC, VBR 8.0MBPS and can only get 1 hour per disc. I capture, convert, and burn using Ulead's DVD MovieFactory and Pioneer's DVR-A03. The quality of my 1 hour DVD is very good but is there any high end software that would emulate what he has? I want to really get into this sort of thing and do it right.
Thanks in advance...
