I have been recording VHS and Beta tapes to DVD using a SONY VHS to DVD recorder. I have been using the HSP: 90 minute, SP: 120 minute, and LP: 180 minute speeds. After finalizing I have replayed them on my Toshiba VHS to DVD recorder with no problems. The problem comes when I play them on my Toshiba "All Regions" player. The HSP and SP play fine, but the player does not recognize the LP: 180 minute speed. (I do know that LP speed on the Toshiba recorder is 240 minutes, but on the SONY it is 180 minutes.) I know my Toshiba will not record at this speed, but the regular Toshiba player will play it with no problem, it the All Region player that will not. Is there anything I can do about it?
