I have a video of a presentation of a real estate investor talking to a group. I need to add images I created from the power-point presentation slides. I need to add the images in when he changes the overhed projectoer in the video, and have the image show for a few seconds while the video is still going under it, in other words when the image is shown the audio portion is still going in the background. Is this possible. Currently I cut the video and added the image but it is silent during the image display, we want the sound to continue unbroken.

  2. Most advanced editors will let you A-B switch between two video tracks while keeping a single audio track playing.

What software are you editing in?

From what you have said your problem is that you are using the same 'track' for these pictures as your video. You want to have the pictures on a seperate video track running parrallel to your video. If you let us know what software you are using it would be much easier for us to help you.

Try VideoStudio Pro 3. You can add your pics to overlay tracks and control their opacity. I am assuming you are in a DVD environment.
