  1. Firstly, what a great tool ffmpegX is.

I've been trying to convert some of my daughters DVDs to MP format so that she can watch them on her iPod. I've found that on most occasions this works flawlessly. However, with some DVDs, it appears that the mp4 file has missing chapters or some of the chapters are out of sequence.

Has anyone else had this problem, or knows how to fix it?

    cheers.

Could it be that some copy protection on the original disc is messing with the ripped VIDEO_TS folder?
Could it be that the ripped VIDEO_TS folder already has chapters missing or chapters out of sequence?

  3. I originally thought that, but i can play the ripped VIDEO_TS using DVD Player without issue.
I've managed to get round the issue by specifically converting each .VOB file to mp4 in sequence, and then knitting it all together using iMovie. It's a bit crude and long-winded but works.
I just thought if someone else had experienced this problem, and had a better method of dealing with it.
