I've been reading everything I can find on this and I can't seem to get rid of the black borders. Last thing I tried to do was load the avi in tmpg, load svcd template, select 1:1 source, 4:3 DAR, center custom(448x254). This was a method I saw Truman suggest. When viewing on my TV, it still has large black borders on top and bottom. Is there anything I can do to convert to full screen without eggheads and without completely cropping out important parts of the display?

Just select 1:1 and No margin keep aspect ratio under Setttings->Advanced. Of course will you lose some parts that may be important...to keep important stuff you would have to manually crop the entire movie frame by frame(pan and scan). Is there anything I can do to convert to full screen without eggheads and without completely cropping out important parts of the display?
