is an app that lets you directly mount your cloud storage(whatever it may be) so it acts like a drive in windows explorer.you can then drag and drop files to the mounted drive.the free gladinet version only allows file sizes up to 50 mb

  6. Oh, so you want to store data on someone else's computer system, over which you have no control?

Why not just get an old hard drive, hit it with a hammer a few times and put it in an external enclosure. At least then, when you experience complete data loss, you will know what happened and can reproduce the storage volume yourself.

Sorry,I'm not going to go easy on you cuz your a chick.

There's this bleeding edge technology out there called-"Online Backup" I know it sounds scary, but it is really not.

BTW-I could smash a hd and feed it to my Drobo. That thing will spin anything.

  8. First, I'm not a chick.

Second, online backup is a dumbass idea. Storage space for stuff you want to make publicly available, or things you don't really need, OK. But as a security measure for valuable data? Making handwritten notes and giving them to the town drunk would have the advantage of at least you can FIND the town drunk.

    Third, what's a drobo?

I think they would be very surprised to hear that their units can actually read hammer smashed hard drives. Sounds like someone isn't using a heavy enough hammer.
