  1. So I downloaded the software without problems, I converted a file, but when I click on it, iTunes opens and does nothing. It still plays songs in the library, but it refuses to play the converted file. This problem has occurred with another software that I tried. I thought it was the software, but now I think it is some glitch in iTunes that may be causing this.

    Any ideas on what's wrong?

Also, is there a way to convert a batch of files in ffmpegX?

What kind of file did you convert? (Source file - container, video codec, audio codec)
To what format did you convert? (Target file - container, video codec, audio codec)

ffmpegXs allows queueing of encodes: you do NOT have to wait for for the current encoding to finish to set up a new encoding.
For real batch conversions with ffmpegX, with the exact same settings, there is a solution by EmmGunn: Quick Batcher.
