I have a dual layer disk that I am trying to copy or rip. I have used anydvd, dvdfab, dvdshrink and dvd decrypter with no luck.

I open the video ts folder it was me that there is 750 gigs of info. Any advise on how to get around this. When I use dvd decrypter it tells me there it is not protected.

If this a new dvd release then JUST wait until dvdfab or anydvd has been updated. And it's not 750GB, it's just that the newer dvd protections that cause windows to report wrong size.

Or is this a home burned dual layer dvd?

  5. Yep it's copy-protection, there are dummy files in the VIDEO_TS folder that make it seem like there are 99 titles.
    99 x 7.5GB=742.5GB

Martian voice, from 'Attack From Mars': "YOU ARE VERY CLEVER !"

Seems like that could be said of the latest copy protection designers . . . .
When in Las Vegas, don't miss the Pinball Hall of Fame Museum http://www.pinballmuseum.org/ -- with over 150 tables from 6+ decades of this quintessentially American art form.

Just play the DVD in a DVD player (even a software one) and turn on the on screen display. This will tell you which title is the real one. Rip that one only and you have a backup up of your movie.

IFOEdit's in-built DVD players is good for that too; plays the disc as per normal then lists the titles that were played afterwards. Match these titles to the right VTS by looking in the VIDEO_TS.IFO file and you're in business !
    If in doubt, Google it.
