  1. Hi I would like to take out the right side of a mpg clip that I have made...could someone please tell me how and what program I would need to use?

  2. This will require paper or carboard, tape and scissors. First, cut the paper to the size of half your screen, then tape it to the right side of your monitor, and voila, have the video gone.....ok seriously, I'm sorry. You can create a matte at the size of the video using any image editing program. If you want black for the right side then use black for that side or so on for what you want. Then simply make sure the othe side is an alpha channel or a chroma key color. You can then layer this over any NLe program that allows you to do so. Premiere can do this if you place the image in the video in the video 2 track over the clip and select transparency. Hope this helps. Lets us know what happens.
