    Hii guys,

I have problem with video conversions. When i use encoders like MeGui or Xvid4psp to convert my HD videos I'm facing this problem.

I installed gordian knot recently and problems started from then. Now I've uninstalled gordian knot, MeGui & K-codec pack and reinstalled MeGui & K-codec pack but it didn't solve my problem.

Problem is with ffd show, i guess but don't know how to solve it 'coz I'm still a novice in video codecs thing.

When i use MeGui the video preview screen is like this:

After conversion the output is also just as the preview screen and the media info details:

When i use Xvid4psp same thing happens the video preview is just same as that of MeGui preview screen and output is :

See the nominal bitrate and the bitrate of the output.

    Waiting for some replies.
    Thanks in advance

  4. Post mediainfo for your source video

Save your .avs script and preview that in vdub. If that shows grey screen, it's likely a decoder error or error with your script.

  7. Why are you converting it to h.264? It's already h.264. You only lose quality by doing this. Why not leave it as is?

install haali media splitter, ffdshow. Under the ffdshow configuration enable h.264 set to ffmpeg-mt

or use ffmpegsource2 for your avs script. I explained how to do this in one of your other threads

or another option for progressive avc content is to use DGAVCIndex. There are instructions in the zip file.

I can't leave it as it is coz the size is pretty huge, the over all bit rate of the source is about 10 mbps.. So i'm trying give it a best fit.

I installed K codec pack so the Haali & ffd r installed. The h.264 is enabled & is set to ffmpeg-mt (by default)

Errr... I checked all ur replies to me. u didn't mentioned it also i don't have any memory of that. (i'll try to use search to get an answer )

    Gonna try this DGAVCIndex now

Sorry, u explained it to me once i forgot

And One more thing, U r awesome !

The script plays fine when i use FFvideosource..! but no AUDIO.

I opened the script in MeGui and encoded it successfully but the output has no Audio.

Here is my new script :

    FFvideoSource("C:\Video.mkv")
    AssumeFPS(24000,1001)
    #deinterlace
    #crop
    #resize
    #denoise

I didn't say anything about audio in my script may be this why i didn't get the audio in my output.

Can u Plz correct the script so that it has audio also ?

Also how to fix the directshow error?
