Hi, I'm having a problem with my 64Gb flash drive, it seem whenever I want to transfer a few movies from one pc to another, these movies will corrupt - won't play ALL of them (tested on several pc same result). Could anyone pls tell me whether this is a norm? thx

64gb flash drive file system is exFAT. There's an option for ntfs but I can't seem to format to that.

Control panel/administrative tools/computer management/disk management and right click on the flash drive partition table and choose format/NTSF default.

I managed to quickformat the flashdrive to fat32 via hp usb formatter due to swiffnife doesn't work properly. But Istill get the same problem but the film plays but only buffers 30% of movie. I can't format to ntfs using hp usb formatter with the quick format option.

i've tried JohnO's method but it won't format, come up some sort of error (I'm using windows 7). Could only format fat32 at the moment. I don't know whether the flash is faulty or not?

I have a 64 GB Patriot Xporter Magnum flash drive. You can see it here:
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820220370

It's worked great for me. Zero corruption problems. Speed is quite good. I'm so sold on it that whenever I decide to buy a 128 GB drive, I will only buy a Patriot brand.

I remember it's rather convoluted to format USB flash drives to NTFS. I have XP. I did a Google search on how to do it and the instructions I found worked for me.

Hi, just a quick update to the subject. I like to thank jman98 for his reply, I've google search found a useful youtube footage which show how to format any flash drives to ntfs & bootdisk in windows 7. I've also followed the windows xp guide on how to format to ntfs but that didn't apply in win7, here's the link to the guide in youtube.

Thanks again to all above replies.
