    I ordered a Rosewill (2) HDD usb enclosure from Newegg.com for $35USD w/ free shipping(rated 5 out of 5 eggs)

That is about half price (only catch is they are limited to 1TB drives)

Really cheap solution for expanding your storage, too bad they don't make a (4) HDD version

I can put more 1.5TB HDD's in my rig and put my old (2)500GB and (2) 640GB HDD's in these usb enclosures, maybe make a rack to hold 2 of them

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182144

Edit: Just ordered another enclosure, and another 1.5TB HDD for $90USD w/ free shipping

I was trying to get in the mood for these b-friday deals and then said forget about it. It was too much for me to bother with this year, plus there weren't much (if any) postings of good deals anywhere, (not enough to get me in the mood) though being on dialup I mostly sway away from "flashy" websites due to slow loading.

I was hoping for any of the Adobe software products, like Photoshop CS4 or even Elements 8 but I never saw any deals. However, luckly Adobe at least had a $30 rebate off their Elements 8 double package, I got the Premier video and Photoshop elements 8 suite at Staples this weekend, but swaded from installing due to fear of frustration of installing a new hdd which I haven't done yet, I need to do that before anything else but have to remove or swap xp home onto the new 1TB drive (couple months ago, remember?) but fear that's gonna be a big headacke, etc. etc. Anyway, I still live.

Anyway, I guess this year wasn't a good time for deals for me. Maybe next year.

vhelp:Don't feel bad because I've read that Newegg was overwhelmed with orders and some got cancelled. Their servers were so overloaded. Makes me wonder if they'll get items shipped out in a timely manner.

I didn't buy anything either since funds are limited for me at this time. Cyber Monday deals don't look good too.

    Nope, don't feel so bad.

Wal-Mart's started carrying Voyager and TNG series, i've been collecting them for $39 bucks whenever they add a new season. At the other place I used to get them, they were selling at $89 (sometimes $59)Now I'm just waiting to get them when wal-mart carries them. I have almost the complete voyager set, only missing se 4 and 7 (not 7of9 though) and I should be happy-er. TNG, I have first three seasons and climbing. Now all they have to do is put DS9 on the shelves too, and I'll be really happy.

Getting Adobe Elements 8 (the suite, premier/photoshop) was a comprimise to photoshop CS4 due to price and latest (money) priorities. Plus, I found out that its not such a toy after all its actually pretty powerful, and has masks and layers and many other enhanced things. Plus, (from what I understand) I can dump a video on the premier element's timeline and snip images from it to work with. So, there's some possibilities there as well. Plus I picked up a few good books on elements-thats how I learnt its not a toy. But it will be a milestone before I finally do get to use it. Anyway. I can't wait.

I did also pick up something else - for myself - but I'll wait to bring that one up

Damn, I say the exact same thing

I haven't gotten into the B-fri buying either.
I did get a nice new Panasonic Plasma 42x1 from BB the day before B-Fri for $3......yep $3
My mangnovox bit the dust (still working fine kinda) after 4 years and BB couldn't get the replacement parts, so they offered me the Panasonic or the Samsung

  11. I tried to get into the cyber monday deals, but just could bring myself to order anything.

I was looking at a sony sound bar with 3 HDMI inputs for $197. I almost hit the order button but stopped.

Anyone else do the cyber monday deals?

  16. They'll get back the cost when you buy ink in the future. They have you now. Mew ha ha ha ha .

On another note, anyone have luck with Kodak printers? Their ink is supposed to cost like half of what the other manufacturers charge. Wondering if the printers themselves are any good.
